Get Nourished, Get Free

  • San Francisco, CA (map)

It is becoming increasingly urgent that we do better for ourselves, for each other and for the earth. There is so much pain and suffering in the world (in this country, alone) that it can feel overwhelming to say the least. So, how do we show up for the work of creating change without burning out? How do we hold all of this without being crushed by the weight of everything?

We believe that placing care and nourishment at the center of our individual and collective movements is one of the only ways we can sustain ourselves in our efforts to create a more just and free world.

Join us for this workshop where we’ll talk about our relationships with:

  • ourselves + how we can make space for being with hard stuff and unlearn toxic beliefs and ways of being
  • others + how we can let go of defensiveness, hold boundaries and give/take feedback
  • community + how we can practice resilience and accountability in the face of difference, conflict and/or oppression

We'll be offering you reflection prompts and exercises for you to dig into throughout and after the workshop (so bring a notebook or a way for you to take notes)!

We're gathering at a private location in the Embarcadero district (close to BART) of San Francisco, CA. There will be light snacks and drinks!

There will also be a community altar (so bring something that reminds you of connection or community to contribute! You can take it home with you after.)

Price: Sliding Scale ($20-$60)*

No one will be turned away for lack of funds – if you aren't able to pay this price, but you'd love to come, reach out to us at!

If you are able to give a higher amount on this sliding scale, we would so appreciate it! This allows us to continue doing this work in a sustainable and accessible way.

Speaking of accessibility, the space is not completely wheelchair accessible. While there is an elevator to enter the space, the only bathroom is at the top of a tall flight of stairs. If you'd like to join us, but this is an issue for you, we apologize! Reach out to us and let us know if there's anything we can do to make this possible for you.

(This button will take you to our link! Enter the number you'd like to pay and we'll get in touch with you from there! Please put "workshop" or "dinner + workshop" if you're going to both in the note section.)
